Foundational Response Protocol
ADVANCED ONLINE CERTIFICATION FOR ARMED SHOOL SECURITY PERSONNEL
The Foundational Response Protocol (FRP) is a rigorous 16-hour curriculum designed specifically for school security personnel. This course serves as Part 1 of a two-part series, functioning as the vital precursor to the advanced R.E.S.P.O.N.D. (Rapid Emergency Security Protocol for On-scene Neutralization & Defense) course. While R.E.S.P.O.N.D. focuses on advanced tactical execution, FRP builds the essential, life-saving mindset and technical foundation required for anyone stepping into a school security role.
In an active shooter event, law enforcement response times typically range from 3 to 7 minutes. The FRP bridges the gap between a passive "Observe and Report" mindset and the reality of being the first wall of defense.
Core Curriculum (16 Hours)
To ensure mastery, each section integrates Core Instruction, Case Study Analysis, and a Knowledge Gate assessment:
By completing Part 1, personnel gain the bedrock tactical knowledge and legal clarity required to move on to the advanced kinetic and strategic drills found in the R.E.S.P.O.N.D. curriculum.

SOLO OFFICER DECISION-MAKING

SCHOOL GEOMETRY AND MOVEMENT

WEAPON RETENTION IN CROWDS

TRAUMA MEDICINE AND CASUALTY CARE
